REV KASTA DIP

There has been an Anglican presence in Poland since the 1600s in the times of the Polish kings. There were various Anglican missions throughout Poland in the 19th century and first half of the twentieth century.  After a hiatus during communism, there has been a strengthened presence since 1995 with a succession of chaplains building the community in Warsaw as well as now in Krakow and Gdansk.

Our Vision:  The Anglican Church in Poland embraces all who seek Christ; we nurture loving relationships with God and one another, we remain faithful to the tradition of Anglican worship, and we serve a world in need.

Our Mission:  The Anglican Church in Poland aims to fulfill its vision by:

• Being an inviting church that welcomes all, regardless of spiritual background, race, sex, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, or socioeconomic status.

• Creating a thriving, growing church, that includes religious education for all ages.

• Offering worship opportunities to meet intergenerational needs.

• Offering worship opportunities to meet cultural needs.

• Using Common Worship as our primary source of liturgy.  

• Responding to God's generosity to us by giving back to the community in time, talent and resources.  By community, we mean those both local to us, and of the wider world. 

• Showing others the living Christ in our congregation, through outreach into Poland. 

• Providing opportunities for fellowship where people may gather and form meaningful relationships.
